Background
Mary is the daughter of career USAF officer and WWII combat veteran Colonel Jack Cline (now deceased) and former USAF nurse and honorable officer's wife, Joan Cline of Ogden, Utah.
Mary graduated from Ogden High in 1979, and from Weber State College in 1984, B.Sc. Applied Mathematics. She worked for TRW Corp as computer programmer at Hill Air Force Base from 1984 to 1989.
Mary entered law school in 1989 at the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law. She was awarded the Edward W Clyde Fellowship in 1989 thru 1991, and graduated as a William H Leary Scholar.
