Mary Catherine Rutledge, J.D.

Utah Bar (1991 to present)

I help people solve their family's legal problems.

People usually know what they want. They may want a divorce, or to defend themselves in a divorce.

They may want a paternity order, child support, more time with their kids, alimony, or a fair property division.

They also know what they don't want. They don't want their children to move away, for example. They certainly do not want harassment.

I help those who hire me reach their goals.

Although the legal process is designed to be reasonable and objective, instead it can seem arbitrary, exhausting, expensive and just plain unfair.

I help my clients navigate the legal process until they get the product the legal system offers them: a final court order that can stabilize their family and move it forward.

And once you have your court order, I can help you enforce it.

I can help you in all family law matters.

I can help you get a divorce, a paternity order, gain custody of your children, or secure parent-time.

I can help you divide property, debts and retirement savings.

And if you are taking care of your grandchildren, an elderly parent, or a disabled spouse or child, I can help you get a guardianship or a conservatorship or set up a special needs trust.

Ronald Ramon Escudero

Jan 9, 1949 - May 10, 2018

We met Ron Escudero in 2009. He was our friend, and we served him as one of our clients. Ron was an artist, father, husband, and Viet Nam War vet.

We proudly display one of Ron's raven paintings in our office to remind us of his indomitable yet playful spirit and the eternal call to work as the practice of art itself. This is what Ron embodied.
